Description: Techniques and approaches to painting the human figure.
Activities: The workshop will include studio time to create individual works as well as demonstrations and classroom discussions. Workshop participants will leave with samples of techniques and materials, an expanded knowledge of contemporary artists, as well as inspiration for future work.
Instructor: Jeffrey Hein has been invited to participate in a variety of regional and national shows including the US Artist Show in Philidelphia, the Bridge Art Fair, London and the New York Armory Show. He has been written up in numerous newpapers and national magazines, such as Arts and Antiques, American art collector, Southwest Art, and in a 2006 complimentary review by the italian art critic John Spike.
