There are many outdoor common areas providing usable space for art creation.
Resident accommodations are newly built deluxe private one or two bedrooms
apartments with hardwood floors, wool carpet, private bath, linens and fully
equipped kitchens with granite countertops. Guests/ family members are permitted,
however there is a fee for any additional beds and pets are allowed with
pet deposit. One Type-A accessible unit is available. Residents
are responsible for own meals, though there is a coffeehouse/cafe on site
and plans are being developed for communal meal plans. Other facilities
and services include laundry facilities and a free local bus system. There
is no smoking in private living areas and in studios. Wireless Internet
and printer also available.
Spiro Art's facilities include: A central studio building, with movable divider walls. This studio building is 2,200 sq. ft. and features large studio sinks, two bathrooms, heat/air, 22-ft high exposed beam ceiling, with lots of natural light and 24 hour a day access. Spiro is a low-tech and non-equipment-based residency, though basic studio equipment such as large easels, taborets, worktables will be available.
